Stepper Motor....Timing....See if a start cycle improves with the Coolant Temp Sensor unplugged, this should increase glow time to max and give you some advanced timing.
Also, check the Grounds at the back of the engine, Tranny stick and the last Intake stud......R&R.

Me being a Non-Engine builder would be interested in a fully Coated and ported Bulid.....Especially from a member that is VERY familiar with the 6.5.

You have access to all this Ceramic coating product and machining?......I'm assuming you're in the business/industry.
Is this ceramic coating a special recipe?
Run the vac pump straight to the turbo (Bypass the WG solenoid)......Just join the orange and black lines at the solenoid w/ a piece of rubber hose.....Or just tie the waste gate shut, that'll take the pump and solenoid out of the equation....Or do both methods to eliminate each part of the system.
I'd rather have the D Max fan and stay cool and slow........To the steel 20" 9 blade, the D Max blade is Night and day.

Extend glow time, small fuel increase, small boost increase......Play SAFE...
Definatley need gauges......boost, EGT, Tranny temp, Fuel pressure would be nice.

Seems the 3500HD is the right platform (W/ Tow Package), Long wheelbase is good for any wrecker.....Plus 3500 C&C is what they use to build these wreckers.....GVWR on a 06 3500HD is, What,....About 12 -13,000.
And I want to put a "Sneeker" or Slide in Self loader.....With the "Sneeker" I've got...
