I don't have the book in front of me right now, but there are 2 sizes 2 1/4" (57mm) and 2 7/16" (62mm). One is for pre 96, the other is for 96 and later. Can't remember which is which though.
It will cause a small amount of lag, although it may not be noticeable. Pictures? I don't see how you could get anything between the radiator and the fan.
Has any one compared the sound of the louvered mufflers mounted in both orientations? Just wondering if it makes much difference which way they are mounted.
Surfer. When you installed the DE muffler, which way did you have the louvers facing?
I know what you mean about the hearing loss inconvenience. Mine drops from normal at 250hz to a 80db loss at 4khz. You could say I only have about 30% of my usable hearing left. Sucks when you are only 42.
That would be good for me. Maybe catch a race or something. When I was in school at the Tech School there, we would go out to the track and make some laps in our personal rides.
Shoot a PM to Turbine Doc. He has a MT2500, and can tell you what your display values should be. You will need to have the stepper motor hooked up to make changes through the PCM.
You have to drop the front diff.
You could try Mean Green Alternators, Motor City Reman, Alterstart, db electrical, Mechman Alt or Powermaster (to name a few). Most of these are choices for the CB and car audio guys, although I am sure there are others out there.
