Replaced serp belt 2 day A/C squeal?

Has the belt stretched? I have been having bad luck with new belts lately. The "Green Stripe" Gates are the only ones I have found locally that don't stretch.

    I saw one today...

The reviews I read in a couple of farming magazines have them pulling low to mid 20s for mileage, in 3/4 tons. They said their new gas engine was doing fairly well too.

A Few Issues, Electrical or Other?

A failing FSD will cause problems with the cruise before you experience driveability problems. Not sure about high idle, though. Just a thought.:)

    Tranny Rebuilt With Engine Codes.

Statement to highlighted text. I'm not sure what you mean by "towards the truck", but on the GM8 the wastegate lever should be pulled up, towards the hood.

    COOLING ISSUES

Yep. You make your new bend closer to the end of the spring, making it longer.

    Brought Home my Dually Today

Yep. In early 96 they had a single T-stat that exited to the rear to clear the A/C. It should also have the LO-Flow water pump from 95. The HO pump and dual stats came in in late 96.

Or, if your fan is stuck on and you are having heat problems, you have a more serious issue somewhere else.

DO you have The large single door for ashtray and lighter plugs, or separate doors for each. 95 had 1 larger door that covered everything.

    Thrown Rod...

You could probably get rid of it at a salvage yard.

What mpg does the CUCV 6.2 1 ton get?

This might get more views in the 6.2 section than the Tech Library.

    COOLING ISSUES

I tried to blow the junk out of mine with a pressure washer. I thought I had done a good job until I pulled the radiator a few months later and saw all the junk that was between the oil coolers and condenser. To clean them right they need to be seperated and the radiator needs to come out.

RPM jump with light touch on throttle.

"I manually operated the waste gate at different rpm's and had no reported difference with the scan tool or audibly." Turbo won't do much of anything, if you are in Park. It needs to have a load on it to make boost.

You need to check out some of Missy's posts on the Lock-N-Stitch repairs.

    Tensioner pulley, new ones different

You may have a problem with the tensioner itself. I have seen them bind and and not operate smoothly, which will throw a belt.

Re-Calibrating VSSB due to tire upsize

:iagree: with Buddy Not only have you changed your gearing 12%, you also have a much heavier tire to rotate. This is much worse than having a higher gear and a smaller tire.
