    V2 - Happy I spent the cash.

Why didn't you answer his question directly? Do you believe that your kit will stop my lly from overheating if I installed it on my truck and removed my V2?

    Farming Thread:

We have had a fairly good year. Sod sales have been strong until recently. I think the economy may have finally cought up. We have a couple hundred acres of grass hay to finish up the end of the month. We planted 90 new acres of alfalfa/bluegrass mix. Our one field of corn will be...

    WIF Sensor wire broke!

I have left mine unplugged ever since I have had my truck because plugging that connector back in is the hardest part of changing the fuel filter.

Turn up pump on a JD 2320 ?

Nice tractor. What kind of coin would one of those cost me if I wanted one.

    V2 - Happy I spent the cash.

Said it once and I'll say it again, the v2 is the best mod on my truck. PERIOD. Congrats.

    Fuel Pressure regulator

So my truck needs a fuel pressure regulator. The dealer (a good one) said it is 4.5 hrs labor and ~$350 for the part. IIRC you could get one from bosch cheaper. Any info would be appreciated.

    Farming rig?

My pickup for pulling pivots out. We have a 2002 Polaris sportsman 4x4 with ~30,000 actual miles on it. We also have a 2006 Polaris sportsman 4x4, a polaris 700 ranger and a polaris 500 ranger. The quads and rangers are much quicker bouncing across tracks.

I hope you have a bale wagon. I am probably going to bale straw towmorrow. Just 2000 bales or about 100 bale bandit bundles.

yeah I am hoping they can rewind it. A new one isn't available for at least a month. Luckily the pump guys had a loaner.

    Farming Thread:

We are in the same boat, no rain and running pivots non-stop. We are starting to get pivots stuck in the sod fields because we seldom rework those fields. Our corn fields seldom get stuck. We have had electrical problems for the past week. 1 200 hp motor burned up. 1 pump panel burned a...

    Farming Thread:

Some may say this should be in the suspension section, but this directly relates to farming. Have any of you bent tie rods while doing farm work? I have had my truck for 2.5 years, put nearly 90,000 mile on it and until about 3 weeks ago had never bent a tie rod. When I bent the first one...

    Farm problem

Stove I have given your problem some further consideration and I think the burden of responsibility like on whose idea it was to apply the chemical on your ground. If the recommended it I feel it is their problem. If it was your idea I think the burden falls primaraly on your shoulders...

I have bailed a little over 3400 since Monday. That is exactly about 3100 more than I would have bailed if I was handling them by hand.

    Farming Thread:

Yeah I understand you on the money thing. I got the bandit and the 4590 Hesston bailer for about half what just the bandit cost. We bought it in order to increase the money we could get out of our hay.

    Do I need new batteries?

I personally refuse to buy any conventional NAPA batteries. They corrode at the connections so bad which especially sucks with side post batteries. I did put the Napa Spiral cells (ie like an Optima) in my old Dodge and like those. No corrosion. I have had good luck with Interstate. I have...

    Farming Thread:

Today was my first full day of running my bale bandit. For those who don't know it is a machine you pull behind your small baler and it bands 21 small bales into big bale making it much easier to handle. We got off to a slow start because we had some hydralic issues, but from 3 to 7 tonight I...

    Farming Thread:

My new 100 acres of sod is looking good. Will spray 24-d on it on monday and some nitrogen also. My early corn is about 4 inches tall and late should peek out of the ground early next week. We had to finish harvesting sod before we planted it. We cut the majority of my hay last week and will...

    Farm problem

That is a tough one Stove, but I think they should be on the hook for it. They are the professionals and should know all the restrictions. No matter it is a bad situation. I hope you can get it resolved fairly, but they have insurance and IMHO it should pay. Just my $.02
