Don't know how well you can see it but these are of the oil in the turbo, intake and plenum.

I smell fuel after shutoff. Hard start cold

Damn, that little f'er is that much! Good idea though, I could get one from the truck parts. If it won't throw a code for not having the heater hooked up, I'd try it. If that heater is really that expensive then I'm gonna go the other route. I'm still concerned about the injection pump though. I...

I smell fuel after shutoff. Hard start cold

Ok so I finally got a decent enough flash light so I could look around for the fuel leak. The fuel filter housing looked like it was leaking from the bottom. Removed it and looks like someone has had it of before. the plastic nut on the bottom was just bearly hand tight, the thing with the wires...

I smell fuel after shutoff. Hard start cold

I recently changed the fuel filter, tightened the bleeder on it, but only by hand since its plastic I did'nt want to break it, should it be tighter, like with some pliers or something? It has had a few spots in the driveway under the bellhousing, but when I checked them out it was a/c...

Runs good on the freeway, in fact I've been in the habit of running around 65-75mph. Occationally it berely stalls on take off, but its...

Just got my first diesel pick-up. Its a 1994 Chevrolet C3500 4 door dually with the 6.5 turbo diesel and a 5 speed manual trans. I've driven diesel pu-trucks before but never owned one. I have enjoyed it so far, with exception of a few repairs I had and have to make to it. It started throwing a...
