X2 Give what you've already got a try, you may find that it satisfies your urge until you get the Cognito stuff. Don't waste your money/time on parts that will be unecessary for the Cognito kit. I'm in the same boat; waiting for the serious OT to kick in for the Cognito purchase.
I had a chance to grab the K47 today. I got everthing from the turbo connection, to the resonator/muffler tube, to the brackets. The only thing missing is the two clips, but since I made a stink about them at the counter, I got some other parts for the '05 for free. Besides, I've read that...
Gentlemen, let me apologize for not being specific. This is indeed a porblem on my LLY. It's funny how sloppy I was when posting my problem...I usually attack others for not filling out their sig, being specific, etc.
So - Here's what I found out thanks to member heymcall on DP...
It was only an intermittent problem, but... Drove over a very rough bit of asphalt, fresh with snowplow potholes, went to signal for l/h turn, and my hazards came on. Right signal operated normally. Hit some more bumps, and everthing went back to normal.
I guess I shouldn't worry about it, but...
Pillow, what junkyard are you going to? I used to live in Front Royal and worked in Gainesville. You may be going to a familiar place for me. BTW, have you ever got a haircut at Lee's barber shop?
I love j/y trips too. My Dad & I used to go all the time, I would always manage to find something I had to take home with me, even as a kid.
I saw a blue one from a 98(?) tahoe that I'm going back for. The 6.5 "needs" it.
FWIW, there's a guy a few miles from me selling his H2s with what can be assumed as BFG ATs for $375. Would you be interested in a "lightly used" set of tires? http://newyork.craigslist.org/lgi/pts/1615619281.html
I found this site extremely helpful.

Just plug in your tread width, it auto-calculates to metric. Aspect ratio can be factored in, add wheel diameter, and you're off to the tire store.
I checked out the site. There are a few here in tne Northeast. Prices range from $66 to $165. Believe it or not, the $166 K47 was reported to have at least 200k miles. Maybe I'll get in touch with the $66 junkyard....maybe I'll take a drive to my local j/y, and negotiate! There were alot of...
Alright, so although I think it's a bit on the pricey, I guess I'll go for it. The donor truck has all the necessary hoses, clamps, etc. I'll fill my pockets and get my money's worth.
How much are you guys paying for the K47 (I believe) filter housing at local junkyards? I found one, but the guy wanted $100... Help me spend my money wisely. Thanks.
