    Oil Pressure?

Just a td lower hot. With any amount of throttle it jumps right up as it should. It's the idle pressure that seems low to me.

    Removing clear coat

Tileman, clear coat is just that clear. They first spray a dull base coat paint and then spray the clear over it. Did you try to do any buffing? Are you sure it is clear coat? If not you can and you want to test, go in a place that won't show to badly and water sand a small spot with a 1200 wet...

    Tekonsha Recommendations

I'll agree with GM Guy, I'd use what I have. You can check the company websites and they will tell you how many axles each model is good for. I now use GM's integrated controller but have used prodigy in the past and loved it. Guys useing the new P3 are telling me it's very nice but are not...

    Oil Pressure?

What is normal idle oil pressure for an 08 LMM? Mine idles with about 25-30 and that seems low to me. Soon as I touch the throttle it jumps to 60 lbs. Thanks, Dan

    Removing clear coat

As you may know, the shine you have comes from the clear coat. Just a wet sanding with 600 or finer paper being carefull not to go thru and the re-shoot the clear coat and it should look like new. You could try sanding with 1200 first and then buffing with a light compound, sometimes that will...

    Buying

I just bought a new 5Ver. Was in the same position as you. Farmdog has some good advice. Look for a dealer with a lot of inventory. Especially hold over models. They want to get rid of them especially the hold overs. Just bought a 07 hold over very cheap, I was very suprised. Bought it at NADA...

you guys using weight distributing hitches?

What link you use will depend on how you want to put load on or take load off the tow vehicle. They are what will determine how weight gets distibuted.

When you make an appointment to look at the truck, tell them that you want to hear it start cold. Sometimes a cold motor will show symtoms that a hot motor will not.

What is your setups for towing a travel trailer?

Don't even think of pulling a tag along of that lenght without a good wieght dist. hitch with good sway control. You will really regret it and it isn't safe. I use a prodigy brake control. Wind drag is always a factor when your basically towing a heavy box. The stronger the wind the...
