well, they left the source, I put a 28klb hd cooler on mine-1/2" connectors, still found it necessary to add second cooler to make me feel better when checking temp. BTW, the 28klb was the biggest I could fit in the packed grill-but it fit with a little modding.
about 6 months ago, my gauge went from reading 14.5volts to one morning after a few minutes dropping to 13. voltmeter says 14.2. been that way ever since. bought higher amp alternator, rewired under hood, etc- no change. just a screwy gauge now. go figure.
