The ESP oil might have an upgraded additive package, who knows, I am not an oil expert. I have not noticed the Turbo Diesel oil in my post at Walmart in a while, maybe they had it and I did not notice it. I'll be going by there sometime soon I will look for it, I am curious now.

Maybe she won't try it out to it's limits. If it was a teenage boy, I'd detune it or mount a throttle stop device on it, if there was such a thing. Seen it too many times, red blooded American Male will run the wheels off of one. Unfortunately sometimes it ends in tradgety.

I've got one sitting in the garage, I bought the right year model, I believe as far as having good power and not having DEF, or having to do that regen stuff. I think the 2006 and early 2007 were the last of the Duramaxs that avoided the new emission crap.

Shouldn't be any Def fluid on a 2006 LBZ, Marty, not even a particle filter.
