    Lights, sorry Nick

They will not seal as well as the liquid tape will.

2 1/2" reciever weight distributing hitch

I'm guessing he might be looking for an adjustable mount, which run considerably more.

2 1/2" reciever weight distributing hitch

What are you looking to pull with it? For what it's worth, although I only have 2" recievers, I've made many of my own hitches. I use 2" bar stock, not tubing, and 'v' the heck out of where I weld it together.

    Speakin of winches

The remote doesn't require rocket scientists to make. It's just a switch that can reverse polarity.

    Speakin of winches

Hydraulics do have one major advantage: they can be used continuously, where as electric winches get hot and have to cool down. Other than that, all the advantages go to electric.

    Speakin of winches

Here's mine on the front. I don't have any pictures on the rear yet.

    Lights, sorry Nick

Given where you live, I would also go over the connections with Liquid Electrical Tape. The stuff is great for sealing out the weather! I used to use silicon for a sealer, but this stuff is way better.

    Got Propane?

Yup - common hp gainer. Not cheap though. The complete setup will go around $1200.

    Pre or post-OEM filter?

The ones that Nicktane sells are, but if you buy elsewhere, make sure it's not cast or if it is, paint and/or coat it.

    Pre or post-OEM filter?

Going pre means you don't have to change the overpriced oem nearly as often. For anyone contemplating adding a filter, a word of advice. Salt and aluminum do not get along well, and the salt will eat an aluminum filter mount up in a few years. Moral of story, put something on it to protect...

    IP Install & Adjustment Question

This one threw me! I've always thought of IP equalling Instrument Panel, and was trying to figure out how the hell that would give you problems! Injection Pump! Ah ha!!

    Got Bagged Today

Not disagreeing, but my pin weight is dry, I'm not sure about loaded. Also, I have a tool box full of good stuff, two Honda generators and fuel. I know that according to my tape measure, the ride height is about the same running between 60 and 70. As for the air, I have the on-board...

    Got Bagged Today

I run 25# unloaded, and 60 to 70 loaded with the 5th wheel (2000# pin weight). As already stated, makes a big difference!

So this is where all you smart asses went

As I so fondly tell me wife: I'd rather be a smart ass than a dumb one! :ciappa: ):h

    Do you maintain your ride?

I have been doing my own maintenance since I started to drive (over 40 years ago), with very few exceptions. Combination of being frugal (cheap) and not trusting $8 an hour "mechanics". However, as I've gotten older and cars gotten more complicated, I have backed away from major stuff...

    Check your balls!

Losing a trailer and the possiblity of theft are why I always spot welded mine. In over 35 years, never had one come loose!

    What is every one towing?

Pretty much the same as Ozzie - 37 foot Montana. I use a Reese Signature 18K hitch, and have nothing but praise for it.
