says that fan clutch is refurbished. you can get a hayden or 4 seasons for about 124 or so if you google it. Good price on the fan blade.

I was 17 and bought a 69 Datsun pickup. It had a 283 with 2 speed power glide tranny. Every little bump would chirp the tires when stomping on the gas.

Could also be that if the truck sits, the batteries discharge slightly so the initial higher voltage would be making up for that till the batteries charge is brought up. Mine does the same thing.
