    Too Many Grounds?

Thats awesome! Now you can drive by that civic(trade in) and wave! I have done some testing on some *ricers*. But the ricers I do seldom play with are Nissan Zs. I heard about putting extra grounding cables around the engine bays and actually getting more power! I tried it with dyno results to...

    Lift Pump pressure?

d Play" for GMT-400 trucks or 88-2000 Chevy GMC. The stock lift pump only puts out 5PSI and can drop to 0 or negative on hard acceleration or driving up hills and mountains. The add for the Walbro^^^ Oh and I am gonna have to get the bigger inlet for the IP! I figure since I am finishing the...

    Lift Pump pressure?

I noticed on the page for the Walbro pump that under high loads the pressure could drop to zero or even negative? Is that still heating up the PMD or is that only if its still on the pump?

    Lift Pump pressure?

War Wagon I agree totally with what your saying because I have a setup on the Alky race car that kinda follows this thinking. I am running a bypass system My fuel pump on the block pushes a heavy and full 14 psi. It goes from there to a fuel log with 2 lines to the float bowls on the carb. Out...

    Turbo Swap Question

There are 3 turbos used over the years. GM3, GM4, and the GM8. Your 97 should have the GM8. Your 93 should be a GM 3. There are a small visible difference on the wastegate setup but many more differences inside. If your not worried about performance at all and really just want to save the cash...

    motors motors motors

I am very interested in more info on Heath's cams! I have a comp dyno program that is very consistent with live dyno time. Me and my computer geek buddy has been running numerous chain calcs with different turbos and more on the 6.x and the old IDI 7.3s.

    motors motors motors

It dyno-ed very consistent. An advantage to a 2bbl engine. I am running a split set of 1.5/1/6. It help flatten the torque curve and put my cam selection right at my .550 max lift rule. I do have an option of losing another 50 pounds by running a .450 lift cam.......Not worth that loss!!!

    motors motors motors

Just wanna touch on a few things. Turbonator....the pick-up used with my Hummer pan was different than my other motors! It had a clamp as well which I liked because I recently lost a 6.2 to a broken pick up. I just figured it was different for the pan but I really don't know much about the pans...

HAve y'all ever seen a 660 block with 1-piece seal and bosses for the turbo oil pressure line? Also had a hummer pan and was set up with the crank sensor. What in the world do I have?

DIY 5 stud main girdle and measurements with pics...

Here at the race shop I had a guy that comes around a lot that works in a metallurgy place of some kind. One day he told me..." I can show you an easy way to cold treat your parts. I can make stock rod tougher that the aftermarket ones" Being a tight wadd I listened! This could be used to treat...
