    6.5 turbo(gm4) on a 6.2

Trust me, If i had room to run it inside the rail, thats where it would have gone. Get the factory passenger side manifold off and mock up the 6.5 turbo manifold and see what you have then. Oil return isn't a biggie. Just make sure the diameter is large enough. I know it will clear with a body...

The making of an odd duck

Not to mention that a 10 front axle probably wouldn't be up to the task of supporting the PSD's weight. A D60 would be in order.

    The Cowboy Cadillac Revival

Not sure about the PN on them but i got mine from napa. IIRC they are the same as a bbc alignment dowels. I just took my old ones in and they matched them. I bought some spares in case i needed them again and couldn't find them.

The Sierra Denali HD if for real...

GM has also upped the brake rotor size to 14" making 17" wheels standard. GFAWR is now 6k lbs. The exhaust now uses def for nox reduction and has a separate diesel injector in the exhaust for applying to the dpf for regens. All that plus 765ft/lb of tq and 397hp.

    I finally got one...

The interior is INCREDABLE. I owned an 07 gasser before and the interiors of the 2 trucks cannot even be compared. EXTREMELY quiet. I would put the 10 dodge truck interior up against any ford or gm for quality and quietness.

    I finally got one...

Thanks Pep. I'm assuming you were the one who put the pic of my truck on my sig? I appreciate it as i'm kind of sig deficient.

    I finally got one...

Thanks. I've enjoyed it so far. It's only got 1150 miles on it. It had 25 miles on it when i first test drove it.

Never played with one, but I hear good things. It would probably be a good match.

How can you tell if the timing is too far advanced?

The other variable in the timing of things is a worn advance piston. If the truck starts alright but seems to lack power at higher rpm, someone might advance the pump timing to make up for the advance that is no longer being done by the piston. Advancing the pump timing would cure the loss of...

    6.2 Grumman charging question

The regulator is built in the alt. Ether to start is a sign of bad glow plugs most likely. It also means that they're probably swolen and won't come out of the head.

    Modified 6.2 turbo diesel

You're hot start problem is probably due to pump wear. Its pretty common on high mileage db2 pumps and would seem to be the logical problem with your truck due to mods and usage.

    Getting my CUCV today!

It was either 88 or 89, but yes, it would have been a serpentine belt.

All I got for Christmas was a VGT turbo

I believe for driveability sake, i would want to try and work out an actuator based on throttle position.

    Cummins going away in Ram?

Ford has NEVER been a majority share holder in Cummins. They owned a 5 percent stake in Cummins when Ford had big truck division. They sold their big truck division to daimler (which became sterling truck) and sold their stake in cummins at the same time back in the late nineties. To keep...
