Trust me, If i had room to run it inside the rail, thats where it would have gone. Get the factory passenger side manifold off and mock up the 6.5 turbo manifold and see what you have then. Oil return isn't a biggie. Just make sure the diameter is large enough.
I know it will clear with a body...
Not sure about the PN on them but i got mine from napa. IIRC they are the same as a bbc alignment dowels. I just took my old ones in and they matched them. I bought some spares in case i needed them again and couldn't find them.
GM has also upped the brake rotor size to 14" making 17" wheels standard. GFAWR is now 6k lbs. The exhaust now uses def for nox reduction and has a separate diesel injector in the exhaust for applying to the dpf for regens. All that plus 765ft/lb of tq and 397hp.
The interior is INCREDABLE. I owned an 07 gasser before and the interiors of the 2 trucks cannot even be compared. EXTREMELY quiet. I would put the 10 dodge truck interior up against any ford or gm for quality and quietness.
Believe it or not, I email chrysler and they sent it to me:

The regulator is built in the alt. Ether to start is a sign of bad glow plugs most likely. It also means that they're probably swolen and won't come out of the head.
You're hot start problem is probably due to pump wear. Its pretty common on high mileage db2 pumps and would seem to be the logical problem with your truck due to mods and usage.
Ford has NEVER been a majority share holder in Cummins. They owned a 5 percent stake in Cummins when Ford had big truck division. They sold their big truck division to daimler (which became sterling truck) and sold their stake in cummins at the same time back in the late nineties.
