The 599 is desireable but hard to find. Most are 660 2 piece RMS blocks. The difference in bore on the 6.2 is 2mm less than the 6.5 (101mm vs 103mm respectively). If the 6.2 heads are within warpage limits (.003" laterally, .006" longitudinally), I would just swap the precups with some diamond...

Don't skimp here. Just pay the 50 bucks for new head bolts and change them all out. Its not something i would prefer to redo later.

I've heard they are both t3 style flanges but can't say for sure. If you're close to the guy with the banks kit, i would measure the flanges of the turbo and the banks mani and see if it will work together.

The banks sends the exhaust straight out the back where the crossover on a 6.5 setup comes into the passenger side manifold. The banks crossover comes around the front of the engine underneath the harmonic balancer so there is no issue with room for 2 pipes.

Its completely doable. Take your time. You'll want a good sized breaker bar to take them 90* past the second tq. Before you start turning bolts on the 90* pass, you'll wanna look at the space around the bolt and find a path where you can get the rotation you need without something in the way...

They won't fit. Bolt pattern is metric on the fords from 99 up. GM and Dodge both use 8x 6.5" pattern. Ford is running a metric pattern. Also, the new lml dmax trucks are using a wider metric bolt pattern for their wheels so 2010 wheels will be the newest wheels to retrofit to an older 8 lug truck.

Nope, it was the zf6 behind the dmax. This swap is doable since the bell housing pattern will match up but the zf was a rare option and if you find one, it will most likely be high dollar.

Must be a problem with the new body style trucks. I did my 83 6.2 to spec without having a problem.

Everything on tru tv is fake. Their repo show, that show, everything they've ever put on the air other that the occasional episode of cops. It was funny watching dude dump the bike at the end though.
