    Help!! Family Suburban won't start

All guages and dash lights come on as usual. I will go out and tap on the starter. Man, I hope it is not the starter. It looks like a PITA to change. Will report back in 5 to 10 mins. Would bad ignition switch allow guages and lights to work as usual? todd

    Help!! Family Suburban won't start

Yesterday I changed my oil. I started her up just fine and moved her back in the driveway. No problems. Let her sit for about 1 hour until the wife had to take the girls to dance class, then NO START! When I say no start, I mean nothing. Not a slow turn over, not even a click noise. About 3...

    Suburban Rear Heat Not Working

THEFERMANATOR, I replaced the tees that you are talking about with NON-factory ones (no restrictors) and my heat works just fine in the front and rear. Maybe I don't know what tees you are talking about. I replaced the ones in the engine compartment, just above the intake manifold on the...

    Project 350HP update

Ian, Great looking truck. You have done a fantastic job. Will you have the ability to dyno test each drug individually? I am interested in the improvements, if any, of the hydrogen. BTW- Buddy was refering to your spelling of Turbine Doc (Turban Doc). Turban being the head gear of those from a...

    Interesting MPG's

Exactly what I was thinking. Still too much black smoke for my liking. Probably need new injectors at the least. A new ATT and new ECM from Heath would be awesome!

    Interesting MPG's

When I purchased my turbo master a couple of years ago, I set it to 2.25 inches of spring length. Instructions said 2 inches, but I do not have any gauges, so I thought I would turn down the boost. I have been getting approx. 19 - 20 mpgs since. This weekend I turned the turbo master spring...

Pics of the new ATT on project 350hp

Always wanted to extrude hone my stock intake as well. In your opinion, did that help much? I made my own intake out of a couple of silicon 90s that I purchased from siliconintakes dot com. I understand about the under the hood temps with the insulation wrap, but please explain how/why the...

Pics of the new ATT on project 350hp

Looks good, but I have a couple of questions. 1. Why did you orient the intake in that direction? Would it be less restrictive to have the intake "pointing" forward with only 1 90 degree bend instead of the 2 that you have now? 2. How much does the insulation wrap help with turbo efficiency and...

Rear disc conversion kit for SF

    why remove vacuum pump

4:10 gears on a suburban? there is some low end grunt on that burban! I would recommend the vacuum delete and go with the mechanical wastegate actuator. It is worth the $$$ and very easy to do yourself.

Please excuse my ignorance, but what is a "sf"?

    Anyone near Siloam NC?

That truck is about 3 hours from me. It is in a semi-mountainous region. Could have some road salt damage. Todd

    Vacuum pump removal

It is about a 10 min job if you don't remove any brackets. About a 2 hour job if you start removing brackets because you did not ask the fine folks at DTR how to do it properly!
