Wow, I dont think I have seen a burb without the factory rack... have any previous pictures?

Can you describe this notorious connector? Pictures? The volt meter in my 95 always runs very low, and I am curious if this is causing it.

BJ - you might want to check this out for TPMS... not sure if you can add enough sensors to do the camper or not. I use it in my wifes suburban, its pretty slick.

We have a 'soft' console there in the 99 Burb - it has 2 cup holders in it, close/tight to the seat.... might be an option. They are in the 'right' spot for both driver and passenger there.

Got any info on that radio mod?? I put a 'car-puter' in my wife's suburban, used a seperate amp, and the radio is a goner. For mine, i have been considering keeping the stock radio, and putting an input in to use it for the computer sounds.. (aka MP3, etc)

I located one!!! Mine came out of a 90 Pontiac Grand Prix GM part # 14101255 still a good # at GM parts - seems its about $30 (not too AWFUL bad) Now I just need to find one more for the wifes burb :-) ETA: Mine is dark brown in color, but similar in noise.

I used an autozone in my 99... it lasted maybe a year. Put one in from NAPA after that, its lasted maybe... a year. At least the NAPA one hasnt totally quit yet... just dropping voltage. Next time around, I think I am going to have a local shop build me one...

With a fuel filter relocation - keeping the cover isnt a big deal :)
