I'm guessing, but turn the ignition on, when the change oil light comes on press the gas pedal to the floor three times in a row............it should shut off. That's how the gasser trucks work at least.
Looks like some serious "toys". I'd be interested in pics of the 64 wagon.......... [email protected]. What's the history on the 79 Malibu wagon? I sold one a few years back as a half finished tubbed/half tube chassis drag car. It was to a guy in Kansas I believe, and I lost touch...
To a certain extent, you're right. Sometimes I have to run 4wd till I get to a lot, then can switch to 2wd. Once you start plowing your rear tires are on "dry" ground b/c you already pushed the snow out of the way. Don't get me wrong, it's not all the time, but sometimes; especially if you...
I like it. Don't need a dually, but if i did I'd check one out-especially with the $3.99 gas/diesel guarantee. Of course this truck may not fall under their "most vehicles".
That's ok, I'll take a 68 or 69 any day too! Heck, any late 60's early 70's Mopar for that matter. Chargers, Challengers, Cuda's, GTX's, Super B's, you name it. :smile5:
I too looked into this. The Avic-d3 is (was) one of the best, at least for me, but the downfall was that the Nav disc does take up the use of the cd/dvd drive. But, as long as you program your route, it will store it, then you can remove the nav disc and use the drive at that point. The only...
No dyno #'s yet. The 2 passes I posted were 9.61 and 9.62.......both @ 137mph. There's definately more in it on HP, at least a couple of tenths with fine tuning and a gear swap. Hope to lose at least a second on spray.
A few of mine, all gone and missed!!!
Sold them all.............:mad2: All scanned pics-no digital then!
My 85 Regal..........10.5" tire class, 8pt cage, 12 bolt, 408 stroker, 4500 Coan stall, 10.28ET
Regal and my 81 Trans Am........355 SBC, 12's
My 79 Malibu wagon that I...
I was going to suggest the same as GM guy mentioned. WAY less of a hassle. Heck, the last one I did, I wanted to lift anyway. It was a perfect time for the body lift!
Not a Dmax, but here's my buddies Monte Carlo SS at the track last night. It's a 588 BBC, chassis, the works. Fresh motor, so these are test and tune passes. Started Fri with a 9.67, then after the first pass, he ran over a piece of glass on the way back and it went through the tube. Last...
What's up guys. I'm here too.
Speaking of going to the races, I'm on my way out shortly to head to US41 Dragstrip. My buddie is bringing his car out to test and tune. Monte SS 588 BBC, the works. Should be a 9 flat on motor-8's on juice, but no spray tonight. I'll post vids.
Hey Matt, since your sig says you're searching, why don't you just buy my truck?? It's already done!! ;)
Anyway, here's mine with fact. GM Escalade handles and 08 badges. I was planning on painting the black lower grille divider, but haven't yet:
I'm kind of scared to try it in my nice, low miled LLY, but how about equipment?? Same effects? Can I dump a few quarts worth into 5-6 gallons in my trencher with 4500 hard hrs and not hurt a thing, or would I be playing with fire?? How about my IR compressor??
Heck, I ran diesel on...
Funny you say that, that was the first thing I thought of. That looks like quite a narrow space for 2 badass cars like that to leave from. You wouldn't catch me 20-30' out like that on the side of the road out in the open, that's for sure!!!!!!!!!!
:frown2:
And on edit, if that's catch...
