well, what kind of pins did you get? stainless???
did you use tape on the holes to keep from splintering???
:nopics:
substitute thread with update
I got my wife a new one last year and you cant see the screen any more and I cant get her to go to the ipod store and stand in line, she is kind of opposed to waiting (for anything).
woowee. these things are nice! my wife likes them too!!
only took about 2 1/2 hrs to do the whole thing.
I did find out that it is easier to do both sides at one time, not one then the other.
also found that yes, you do have to take the bottom bolts out of the shocks.
also...
hmm, interesting,
just today, my craftsman 3 ton floor jack crapped out on me while I was putting in my sulastic schackles. had to go get the jack off the back of the jeep just to get the truck off the jack stands :mad2:
Ok, just crawled under the truck to start this project and ran in to an issue. Nothing bad, but it looks like I will have to remove the hitch to get the bottom bolt out of the shackle. Is that what everyone else has had to do or is there a better way?
just curious, but, how long does it take from ordering to receiving? my order says processing.
thanks
on edit...
ok, i feel stupid now, just checked out on the front porch and there they were :D
I would check the wheel bearings while you are down there. they are a sealed unit and come with the wires sticking out of them which i suppose is the sensor you are having issues with anyway.
So, if you have to take it all apart anyway and have a bad bearing.... they are prone to go out, I...
I had a 2003 2500HD, ex cab, 4x4, short box, 6.0 with a stick, it only got about 13mpg and got progressivly worse if I towed anything or drove it hard. thats the reason for the LLY :D
You might get better with 2wd tho...
I like them.
the hood reminds me of the old 6.5's or something back in the '90s. I liked them then too.
Not too keen on the fish for me, but it looks good on your truck. I would prefer something else, maybe a deer or something.
any body else seen this? I am still looking at this danged red light. I guess it aint got bad enough to take out the fuse yet.
If I do take out the fuse, will it shut anything else down?
I don't know if its bad or not but I took it off to check it the other day, it looked all clean inside the threads, so I put it back on tight to see if that helped. it didn't.
