    The donuts are round with a metal insert. If you have them they will be easy to recognize. Sometimes you can re-use the old ones if they are in good shape. You really need them as there is no other way to fit the x pipe.

    I' ve had the dodge in my sig for 41 years. I would sell my wife before I sold that. It is not easy to replace rare objects. Take em' to the grave!

    When my head gaskets let go, I had NO water in the oil. I have a feeling you have other issues.

    Don't be foolish. Put injectors in it while it is apart. You will be glad you did. You can certainly find injectors for less than a grand.

    What? He milled the crack out? I don't understand, if he said it would cause a leak. When I did my head gaskets, there were small cracks between a few of the valves. I removed the valves and looked at them close and the cracks were quit shallow. I decided to re-use the heads. That was a year ago...

    IIRC the push-rod upside has a brassy color to it

    Hell, I can"t see a locked alternator keeping the engine from turning over with a new starter to boot. The belt would slip.
