Some one had posted here a short while ago about duramax fan options, the fan clutches, 6 bolt fan, 4 bolt fan and the ways you could wiggle them together. For the life of me, I can't find it. Maybe it was at the other place? Anybody remember? Thanks...

Important(!) New(?) Discovery(?) about fuel pressure/ Feed The Beast Mods

Why would the screen be after the filter? It certainly cannot filter as well as the paper element. So what purpose would it serve?

    Cooling heads upgrade.

The flash product looks pretty easy to duplicate. It however, does not have the mysterious balance cylinder and modified crossover that Heath's product does. I guess the coolant from the rear of the heads just follows the "current" of the flow to the heater core and back to the radiator. If I...

    Scan tools

It says " General Motors – 1982 to 1993 and some 1994 to 1995 models" - "Some" may mean our trucks.

    Replacing low pressure A/C switch

It wouldn't hurt to get a 134 switch, but it may not be necessary. Make sure that the condenser, radiator and any other cooling devices you may have behind the grille are clean of bugs, dirt and whatever. I cleaned mine a few days ago and I gotta tell ya, the difference in the A/C cooling is...

    Any doctors in the house?

Probably not the problem, but you should replace your glows and injectors after you figure this out. Overdue....

    AC Low Pressure switch failure?

Yes. There is a shrader valve under the switch to keep it from leaking during replacement.

    OPS relay question on a 98 6.5

How about someone with OBD 2 pulls the connector of the OPS when the engine is running and see if the lift pump stops. If it does, then it must run thru the OPS, like OBD 1. I am curious.

    OPS relay question on a 98 6.5

Here is a copy of all-data diagram. It shows 2 circuits for the lift pump from the PCM. However, one circuit is referred to as a signal. I read this as an input, therefore I think Matuva may have something here. My .02 cents. Sorry it is sideways...

Yes, on all of the above. Welcome Phil, you are at the best 6.5 forum in the world.

    Occasional rod knock?

This sounds like my engine--A ting ting ting from the turbo area. I believe missy goodwench mentioned something about it being a common noise in some of these engines, If you dwell on it ,it will drive you nuts. I would notice it when I would drive to a outside bank teller. The noise would...

My '94 Suburban has the hole.

You are running 38 PSI of boost? If so, is that not pushing the envelope? Like really asking for trouble?
