Just for FYI, don't ever buy the NAPA 93 K3500 pump (it's a Carter, I don't remember the #), it's worse than a late model stock spec pump, I was pulling serious vacuum with that pump on. Autozone carries the Airtex, so does Rockauto.com.

Thank you everyone for your help, I have decided to beef up my truck a little more and not spend all of that money. My truck almost does everything I need it to do now, I think with a few more mods I can get it there, and save a metric butt load of money. CC would have been nice, though.
I have that pump, it doesn't keep up. I'm talking about the other lift pump he sells. If you go to his site, it's the first pump under 6.5 lift pumps, the blue and black one.
You would think that they would have some kind of bypass in them. Even if they have complete confidence in the pump, there's always a chance of some electrical glitch stopping the pump. Not very well thought out for the money they get.
Does anyone have any pics of how they mounted theirs? I was thinking of bolting it to the bed near where the filler hose is. I'll have to make a bracket, then bolt down through the floor of the bed. I figure that will keep it above the frame rail.

I did, not much except what I posted already, and a front bumper realignment (15619 miles) and impact bar replacement (14,726). The PCM was reprogrammed with SPS at 15619, I'm assuming that was the glow plug issue?
I've read somewhere about the front hubs or bearings wearing out? The steering intermediate shaft was replaced at around 50,000, the PCM was reprogrammed at about 16,000.
Re there any red flags to watch out for on the trans? I have never had an allison equipped truck, so I don't know what the shifts should feel like. What's this hub thing?
