slightly off-topic here.. but I seem to remember reading somewhere that a guy was having a lot of troubles with his windshield wipers rattling and other odd sounds when he but a bugshield on a nbs silverado
so, maybe you don't really want to have one on???
My family has a 2004 Suburban with the flex fuel 5.3L in it and it is quitting about once or twice a year when it is 85+ degrees out side and after over 1 hour. We have no idea what's wrong, no tell-tale signs here.
Anyways, any advice is appreciated and my dad swears that there's a specific...
Thanks for the advice.. I'm really starting to think more towards the Alpines.. yes, I will check local before buying from crutchfield.. I think it's nice to do business locally if possible!
Everything is stock on my truck (well on the inside at least) and the speaker in my passenger door is a goner. I don't want to spend much, as I plan on getting dad's duramax in the next yr, but I need to do something.

North Central Indiana getting dry now.. we haven't had rain in over 2 weeks and we're worried that some of our dry land (non-irrigated) corn is going to end up 12ft high with nothing on it.. such a great summer before now, but its really getting dry and hot now
Northern Indiana crops look great overall. Still un-planted seedcorn fields around here due to slower growing parent seed in winter production in Hawaii, but again, overall everything looks excellent!
Since this is the farming thread I thought I'd ask: What are you guys with '08s doing with your dpf's? Anybody runnin that "other" color of fuel with them or start a field fire?
I know it's a lot of money, but I'd look for a 20 or 30 series with front duals and the floating axle on it. From my experiences with our two 8520's they turn a little harder than our 8300, but not too bad. I just really wouldn't want to put much more stress on a front end that isn't made for duals.
Used to use meguires in the bottle (paste), now we're using Mothers in the can for everything.. trucks, tractors, boat, combine, etc. It goes on and comes off easy and I think its one of the longer lasting waxes too.
