Interesting idea but a little too late for that. ;)
Anyone know if there is any structural differences between a 92 and 94 body? The gap between my rear fender lip and rear tires got quite a big larger after we set the "new" body on the frame.
The theory is since one pad moves and the other doesn't they need to be different formulated pads. One formulated for the outside pad (stationary) and one for the inside pad (pad on the piston). I have a set on my Thunderbird running PBR calipers, they do well. Quite a few of my customers use...
Are you sure, it looks all cast to me?
For reference if someone doesn't know about this; rubber failure prone edition:

Problem found. The hardwire that I thought was used in conjunction with the OPS, the wire that I wasn't using, was THE power wire for the lift pump. If that wire as not "hot" the lift pump was not on; so I've been running on solely the injector pump as far as I can tell. Hooked the lift pump...
Finally nice and not snowing or raining so I checked the recommended wires in the OPS thread. Reading a nice steady 13.9volts. That's with a new OPS and still getting the intermittent miss.
Did however find that the gray wire had a piece of insulation missing almost at the relay pigtail about...
Yeah the filter harness is on the vehicle. AC Delco unit, that was put on/replaced this past summer.
I haven't opened the valve in a while but when I do to eliminate possible problems I never have any problems with getting a good stream out of it. I can hard wire the lift pump and hear it...
Well took the fuel tank cap off on the way to work, inconclusive. Put it back on at work but not till it clicked....it's "snug". It had a small fishbite on the way home but nothing that I would say solved or helped yet. Do have another OPS on standby though. I guess I'll find out about the sock...
Well that makes sense.
Every time the valve is open while running it runs a good few psi (haven't thrown a gauge on it yet). Guess it's "do or die"....I'll pick another one up at work tomorrow.
That's what I don't get: if the gauge reads right how the LP won't work.
I got the part that the LP works through the OPS, dad and I have had discussions on that.
Is there any way to know without having to actually replace the OPS?
Oh yeah, forgot about that. That one is a relatively new Delco unit. Came with the piece that screws into the injector pump too (don't know what that one is).
Oil pressure reads fine and normal, cold and hot. Both hoses from the filter manager to the IP have been replaced.
I have an intermittent "fish-bite" that will NOT go away. Newly rebuilt injectors and IP (IP from Pensacola Diesel), new PMD, just got back from putting in a new (reman) ECM, OPS is fine and it's got a relatively new LP. Comes at any throttle amount and at one point I could tell you where/when...
If that wierd noise turns out to be a bad motor that $2000 doesn't become that good of a deal, at least IMHO.
Not enough information to give you a good idea. What kind of noise is it making, hows the oil pressure, blow by, etc., etc. Without a few more good specifics I think it'll be hard to...
:iagree::iagree:
When I did my injectors I had a couple of the old copper washers still stuck very well in the head. Someone on here (can't remember who) suggested a good sharp chisel and a good pick to get them out. Worked great got a little into the seat though.
I pulled out my inner...
