    Too much fuel pressure?

No, the rear filter is a 30 micron and the foremost filter is a 5 micron. Actually thinking about adding a 2 micron in the engine bay later on. Maybe overkill but good peace of mind. You know that's a good question. Don't see it on their site: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-g3136-2...

    Too much fuel pressure?

Plumbing in a regulator it is then. Here's what I got so far: The tank will be dropped for a new sending unit and the factory fuel manager will be removed after plumbing in the new system. Honestly I don't care for how much farther back it is than the factory lift pump but the torsion bar...

    Too much fuel pressure?

For a DS4 equipped engine, is it possible have too much fuel pressure going to the injection pump? I'm revamping the lift pump/filter manager setup and was trying to figure out if I need to throw a regulator on the pump or not. Unregulated it should put out 15 PSI.

    No lift pump pressure

Can't get it to start. :( Solved the no pressure problem when hot wired......I'm a knob. Put the stupid thing on backwards. Could have sworn I didn't do that. Anyway, good pressure when hot wired but now it won't start. Will post new results Monday. Letting the batteries recharge.

    No lift pump pressure

Life sucks......Dad in the hospital Tuesday and contracted a virus on my laptop Thursday so I'm on my mom's computer right now. Finally able to reply back. Have not had a chance to check the grounds yet but I thought I'd go ahead and check voltage before I forgot. 15.7X Volts wired from...

Fellow Suburbanites... how's your mpg doin'?

When I first got it completely stock minus #9 resistor, 16-18mpg with stock 16x7 steels and 305/70 tires. After a small lift, 17x9 H2s, 305/70 Maxxis Bighorns, hipop injectors, CAI, Heath TM, 4" exhaust (no soot trap) it actually dropped to 14mpg average.

    No lift pump pressure

Forgot: won't be able to check the LP tomorrow unless I can order in and receive a sock. I know it's constant hot at the fuse, 12.68v.

    No lift pump pressure

I'll try to get that done tomorrow or tuesday but don't know if I can or not. Starting classes this week so I don't know what my free time will be anymore. Exactly what's the definition of a "clogged" sock? I dropped the tank and took the sock off. It was definitely dirty (almost black) but...

    No lift pump pressure

Before anyone asks, yes; I checked the fuse for the LP and it is good.

    No lift pump pressure

Wow, lot of replies. Ok, first: When I say new OPS I mean NEW. Fresh straight out of the box. It's not a Delco unfortunately; it's an Echlin. I don't have a Delco supplier on Saturday otherwise it would've been. The LP is also a brand new straight out of the box Airtex. The LP was hot...

    No lift pump pressure

Is is possible to have a clogged fuel filter and it be as white as it was when installed? What brings this up: Reading 0 fuel pressure. Mechanical gauge installed between filter manager and IP. When it cranked it would build up to 7psi and promptly fall to 0 when it ran. New OPS, new LP...

    Power Distribution diagram?

Would a missing body ground be causing my problem? I think I may have omitted one or two when putting my body back on due to breaks. Checked both fuses last night with a multimeter and both along with the others are reading @ 14.X volts.

    Power Distribution diagram?

Don't have either. No lights out back or as far as I can tell interior lights. Dashboard lights, headlights, turn/park lights all work fine. Don't have HVAC control or radio. If the PMD is drawing too much current, how do I fix that or is there a fix for that? Sorry, I'm no good with...

    Power Distribution diagram?

Would someone happen to have a diagram of the power block on the driver side kick panel? I'm blowing fuses under "CTSY" and I need to know why. It's a 20 amp fuse; keeps arching when I try to put a new fuse in it. Something's killing my batteries, after all this time they held a charge just fine...

    New direction for the Suburban

Woot! Evacuating AC, held a nice steady 28 in.hg. This was supposed to be a before picture for my LEDs...until I found out the seller sent me two right side taillights. Still a s#it-ton of things to do. If you look close I still need rear flares, need to get the chin piece under the grill...

Well that is definitely interesting, did not know that.

    Cruise control harness?

Need some help. For the life of me I can NOT find the connector for my cruise control/TSW. Dad and I spent probably a collective of half an hour trying to find it to no avail.

    New direction for the Suburban

Didn't think about that; looking at both of them, they're both the top models for those years though. Each one looks pretty well loaded minus the more aesthetic options. Most powerful motors available for each year, Silverado trim on the 92, SLT(?) trim on the 94, both 3/4 tons, both full...
