    Missy goes full retro

That t-case you are getting rid of is quite desireable to some people...It allows the use of a GM front axle on a SFA conversion and have the speedo still work. I'd be inclined to buy it off ya to sit in my garage "just in case" if you lived closer... Bill

    Issues continue...

I taqke the tower off all the time to get it out of gear LOL. Ok, I know which one is for 5th/Reverse, but how do I know if it's in the grove? And can I see these wear slides? So, I figured some stuff out too... It WILL come out of 5th, but not if I put my foot on the clutch. Foot down...

    Issues continue...

Ok, I'm still working on my '95 Burb. When I brought it home I seized the NV4500. It was dry from oil and I didn't know, so it seized up doing 55MPH. I brought it to a friend and he tore it down and replaced everything that was needed and put it back together. I installed it and once...

    ’94 K2500 HD (8 lug hubs)

1500 and 2500 mounted on top, 3500 mounted from below. Some people flip their ball joints when they crank their bars way up. Of course, strange things happen at the factory so who knows where yours were origionally. LOL Bill

    Ground Issues?

I looked and that pair of wired is attached to the engine. I haven't taken them off and cleaned them yet though. There is a braded non insulated ground wire there too, but it's broken. Where does that one attach? Thanks, Bill

    Ground Issues?

There is only one back there for sure. Where do those 2 grounds run? I'll make new ones. :) Thanks, Bill

    Ground Issues?

My temp gauge isn't working. It worked before I installed the 3" body lift. My voltage gauge reads way too low, but it always did.(10v v.s. 14.2 measured at battery) My fuel gauge sometimes jumps around. My glowplug light does not come on, but never did. I think I have a ground issue but...

    water mist or intercooler

I've seen turbo impellars quite erroded from water on a couple of gasser street/strip cars. I wouldn't do it myself, but there are plenty of people that do. Bill

    Pane Project Pics

Why don't we see more of this on the 6.5's? I'd like to add Pane to my 'Burb in the future. :) Bill

    Performance Cam

Has anyone actually used a degree wheel on a stock cam? I'm just wondering how accurate the numbers being used are. Are the valve events quoted at a certain lift value? The exhaust valve needs to be absolutely closed BTDC and there can be absolutely NO overlap...We can work with pretty steep...

    Latest A-Team Turbo Data

What was your average before ATT? I have a '95 2500 with 3.42's and a 5 speed and am just wondering what I might expect. My '99 gas Burb gets about 12mpg mostly highway running under 60mph.

    Performance Cam

Here's my take on some things...Doing work on the intake side of the engine will release more power than people tend to think. Boost pressure is a result of restriction to flow, right? Building boost costs power. I have seen turbocharged V8 gas engines loose boost psi and gain good amounts of...

Small Batt Chargers to add to block heater circuit

On my '89 6.2 I had to rebuild the engine. when I did, I put in 2 block heaters and a similar trickle charger. I used to leave my truck for 7 days in a parking lot in -40 weather. 2 days before I was schedualed to leave I'd plug the whole works in and would never have a problem starting when...

    4500 oil????

I just got my NV4500 back and am installing it in the 'Burb this week. What oil do I need for it? Pretty much the only thing left after that is to get a K&N. After the 3" bodylift, I can't get my stock aircleaner setup to work at all. I tried a bunch of different things to make something...

Any way to beef up my front end?

There is NO difference between putting in keys and turning up your stock bolts. Both do the exact same thing with the exact same results. If you can't get your truck high enough by cranking your stock keys, you should look into a different aproach to lifting your truck. Dan, what did you...
