I have the 1ok resistor already. is if you put a 15k resistor will it see less psi or is it the other way? it is defueling at 15 psi. but i tow a 12000 pound trailer and it will hit that at any hill. so i was thinking there has to be away to fool the ecm to think it is seeing only 10psi at at 18...

So i have installed the HX40 and the truck drive great unloaded. but if i try and tow it defuels. Any suggestions? I know that a new ecm will fix it but don't have the funds right now and am looking for a different option for the short term.

I am still planing on comming. I just got the turbo on today And first results are good. Trans is not happy. It might need a rebuild on the trans. Pulls hard till the trans slips. Plus the new turbo sound great!:

Why not just split the signal coming out of the pmd to the injection pump. one pmd, one computer two pumps?

I have a question about the differences in the the filter housing on the trucks nd the vans. which is better or are they the same? The one on the vans looks bigger and it has bigger inlet and outlets. would it be good upgrade for the 6.5 in the truck?

How do you like the 3.42 gears in your truck? I have been thinking about putting them in my truck. it currently has 4.10s. the rpm are to high on the freeway.

The pump will keep failing without the filters. you get small particles in the system from the failing pumps and the filter is the only way to get it all out.

So i have a 96 chevy 6.5 that has 180,000 miles on it and it still has the factory power steering pump. It started to make noise 6 months ago so i drained the fluid and put a inline filter on the return line. it has been working great. no more noise.

My truck is a 1996 Chevy 6.5 turbo diesel and it has 180,000. All original parts.
