We have had a trailer cath fire, in the living quarters in western KS. Not sure what happened, my sister got all the horses out then pulled the pin on her turn over ball jacked the trailer up a bit and went like hell to get the truck out from under it. She did pretty good for a girl.
I'm not sure on the H2's it has beefier spokes than the PYO's so I am assumein they as strong or stronger. I will put them to the test with some of my loads that I need to pull. I have never owned a truck that has gotten beat up as fast as this one has. I have driven that truck maybe 2000...
I'm sure he will, if the weather isn't good enough to go up to the shop he will get bored, and do it for me. Yeah I was told about the glass rattle, that pisses me off no one does a good job anymore. And the guy who does tint said it is to big to get inside his shop so he has to wait for good...
Thanks guys, I got them off ebay for 400 bucks to my door. Had a guy want my old wheels and tires so I traded hime for a new set of the same tire I had just in the new size, he is my truck dealer so it worked out great. 400 bucks all said and done I am pretty happy, I just wish I could be ther...
Hey thanks man, I like it, nice job on the center caps too. My old man was bitchin that it was too tall now, but that is why he has the Escalade so he can leave my truck be tell I get home. Thanks again, now I am ready for that Mike l. tranny.
Still will be heavier than a stock bed, the aluminum beds are built very heavily, well the good ones are at least, I didn't go aluminum, I tow loads that are to scarey for me to trust the shear strength of aluminum. But they are built heavy to make up the difference in strength.
We have had some Esab units in our shop and they have never held up, they eat up consumables very quick it seems, and there arc is no where near as clean as the Millers and Hypertherm.
My bradford bed weighs in at 1900 pounds with no welder, so you better find 2 very strong guys. Me 921500Z71 have pulled off many longbed by hand just the 2 of us, never had a problem, one was dually the other was his 1/2 ton long bed. It took a crane to get my bradford bed on though.
