Thats one of my concerns. The drivers side door sticker says E rated tires.

The only specialty tools I´ve used have been a ground down allen wrench with an extension duct taped to it to remove the PMD from the IP and a OPS socket. Oh and the paper clip resistor remover.

Thanks Matt. Thats what I was thinking but I read alot about people using E rated tires. I guess they are towing alot of heavy loads.

I drove it today and after warming it up I checked the tranny fluid level and it was above the full line. I´m gonna drive like this for a few days and see what happens. If the P/O had really overfilled the tranny could this have forced fluid past the seal to the T/C? Handcannon- I like that...

Got it all back together the day before yesterday and took her out for a test spin. Fantastic results. Now I have a stable throttle, smooth acceleration,a functioning Cruise Control, and the best part no more fnn codes 35 and 36. YEEHAW!! Now I need to take a road trip and check the mileage...

Once I get these torx bolts off I´ll definetly swap them out with standard bolts.

The rear seal looked fine. I´ll have to think about pulling the T/C. I´m a little worried that it´ll be over my head skill wise. Thanks for the replys. g

Thanks for the replys. I was level so Buddy thats not it. It must be the seal at the input shaft. Is that something I can do in my driveway with limited tools and skills? I´m assuming I´ll be about a quart low in the tranny now? Will this screw up the tranny? Can I fill the tranny and still...
