Thanks for the replys. Is there any vendor that sells a complete set of bushings (control arm and stabilizer),ball joints, tie rod ends ect. for my 1995 chevt k 2500 4x4 6.5 diesel Suburban? I have one shot at getting the correct sizes. I´ll be in Cali in Nov. to pick up the parts but returning...
I´m gonna replace the uppers and lowers both sides. What brand and supplier is best? I see Moog at Rock Auto for a decent price. Any good? There is quite a selection and this is my first time with the "95" so make and numbers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks g
Alot of good ideas. Thanks again. Just one of the five was bought new. One came on the pump and I bought 3 from some guy on Ebay. We dont get much in the way of temp. swings here. It´s pretty much always hot. Maybe a bigger heat sink?
How would I test the fuel solenoid?
Just curious how the g80 locker works for you guys and gals? Durability? Does and donts?´Mine seems to work well. I rarely have to put it in 4 wheel drive. 14 bolt diff.
Thanks gus
Big T those tires are looking great! Especially after spending 920.00 usd for my Generals. How were they to balance. Did they take alot o lead like the BFGs? I´ll definetly be looking at those next time around.
Don´t crank em up to much or the ride will be horrible. I tried to level my sub with the t/bars and the ride was so bad I retuned them to a couple of turns more than original.
My Generals were made in the good ole USA. Funny cause I know they are made in Mexico too. I assumed that mine (bought in Mexico) would be Mexican made. I guess some of NAFTA worked?
If I could get the Bilstein 5100s for my trucks I would go back to Bilstein. I just don´t think the HDs are any better than the Monomax. Well anyway I don´t think you can go wrong with either one both are good shocks.
I´m suprized no one has mentioned KYB Monomax Shocks in this thread? I have them on both my Subs and think they are great. They are a litlle bit cheaper than the Bilstein HDs but every bit as good IMHO. Check em out!
UPDATE.............. I finally found some chaulk that worked. It seems these tires like 53 up front and 48 in the back. This is with a cheapo 60 lb guage from the AZ/china.
My other observatiion is these AT tires definatly wander around more on the highway than the m+s michelins I had before...
