Thanks guys. Makes sense .
Has any one had snap test with ATT only, (no tune ), & how did they make out ?
I know ,I asked this question before ,& still wondering .
I feel like a wet blanket mentioning it ,but the soot on Veg outs back quarter panel & black smoke out his exhaust(see vid)makes me somewhat concerned about passing emissions(opacity) test. Ko Jo assured me no problems in Finland .Wondering how others have made out.
Sounds great . I,ve just resurrected my 5th wheel out of the back 40( been using the truck camper ) .Gotten over some health issues & hope to finally do the mods that will improve towing capability to a satisfactory (for me) level. Appreciate any comments on the ATT, Heaths GLE-S as to how...
Called a last ditch screen . Put there in case fliter should decide to cme apart & pieces head for the ip. Stanadyne dealers should be a source I beliieve
Been a while since I did mine , down pipe that is , but recall it went a lot better with some help, to get pipes to line up squarely . Took more than one try . The clanp or band only meant to hold the pipes together & wouldnt tolerate any misalignment iirc
If there is any practical way to do a test run (need to have proper hich etc ) I would go back to the Dealer & ask to do a test run ,one that involves good big hills ,including hills from a standing start & see how your comfort level is . Wt wise it should be a cake walk but frontal area &...
I recall being in the Peace for a month (July ) some years ago & it rained every day . Nobody got too excited abiout it. I do like my truck better when it rains tho .
Seem to be increase in reports of pmd failures on this & the other site ,both stanadynes new & improved & flight systems ,runaways I believe, but no spectacular crashes reported.
Recall on the other site prewar days when there was a fair amount of activity with tm,s that increasing boost a certain amount was shown to actually lower temps ,inlet air & exhaust ,but going higher ,15 psi or so? temps went up due to restricted turbo or whatever . I dont think retuning was...
Here in Ontario, Cda, one tons have to undergo the opacity(snap) test for emissions .In view of comments on smoke at spool up wondering if any one with an ATT has had to do the opacity test & how they made out?
