Fluid Damper GROUP BUY. thru 13 Dec 12

Absolutely no difference between the dampers themselves, the difference lies in the fact that the DS4 equipped engines have a reluctor built into the lower timing gear, the DB2 equipped engines do not have the reluctor(in most cases)and require a spacer to make up the difference in distance from...

    18:1 Compression Pistons

Never heard tell of that being done? I know for a time you could buy rod blanks and custom build rods as you desired, but have never seen or heard of rods being shortened except for the minimal amount done when resizing.

New Injector Pump or sell the thing.

Air entry at startup is often from leaking fuel heater or water in fuel sensor O-rings in the fuel filter manager.Easy fix-look for fuel in the engine valley as an indication of a leak there. Constant air entry is usually from a pin hole or larger leak between the fuel level in the tank and...

The pilot bearing is a maintenance item and is much easier to replace while things are already apart. Another way to remove it is to pack the bearing and the space behind it with grease, then get a dowel the same size as the input shaft where it rides in the pilot bearing and drive it into the...

That's the power of economics: $45 list price on the ring gear = 1 hour labor-oh yea tax. Check rock auto prices lower than $100 for a flywheel. Beg,borrow or steal a clutch alignment tool when you get to doing the job,

Were you ever able to get wholesale pricing on fluidampers? A kit with a timing cover seal, balancer, balancer installer and drive pulley might be a welcome addition even if it were a quality stock replacement?

Flywheels don't wear out, they can heat crack but that is a simple matter of resurfacing it. BTW,a solid flywheel usually has a balancer on the output end where the driveshaft is,the dual mass flywheels don't.

Would be a lot cheaper to get the ring gear replaced on the flywheel you have. They are usually just shrink fit to the flywheel and can be replaced quite easily by a machine shop.
