There's just enough oil to make the dirt stick to the manifold, and after a short run across town I can smell hot oil. The guy I bought it(the Tahoe) from said that the CDR sticks about once a yr. He said that would just removed it cleaned it and reinstalled it.
I don't need my wife to attract any more wildlife (for some reason when my wife is driving the deer come to the road.), the visor is no longer attached to the roof in the middle thanks to some prairie chickens she scared up out of the ditch.
Thanx for the heads up on the CDR.
I have a gm4 turbo on the engine right now, I noticed today that there is oil leaking from the Exhaust manifold, and I removed the intake hose and it is coated in a film of oil.
In your experience is it just the seals or should I be looking for a new turbo before the engine swallows pieces of...
I get 20-24 (Imperial Gallons) haven't pulled anything yet, 33' tyres, four speed auto. Makes a big difference when I use the cruise on the hyway. I keep it in the neighbourhood of 65- 70 mph, between 1900-2100rpm. Engine and computer completely stock configuration.
Alright I guess I jumped the gun a little, the stupid little 20 amp ign fuse was the culprit this time, when you look quick it looks fine but if you look closer there is a tiny little burn mark on it must be where it had blown. If it goes again I'm going to find the short somewhere.
Thanx guy's. I came to the same conclusion too at work, I'll defintly be checking them out, I took some steel wool to the contact points on the fuses a few months ago to be sure that if something like this happened I would just have change the fuses. For so many things to happen at once it...

Got another one before I take this one apart, I've busted things trying to take them apart before, so I usually get a backup before I take things apart, that way I still have my sanity, and I can do it on the weekend when every good parts dealer is closed, where I live.
Thanx, never dealt with so much wiring in my life until I bought my Tahoe. Some one that owned it before me hacked up the wiring, fixing it all ( the right way) before I find myself on the side of the hyway with a pissed off spouse.

When replacing the throttle pedal on my '95 will I have to recalibrate it? If so does anyone know if there is a procedure in the forum somewhere here that some one else my have explained this already, and direct me too it please.
Thanx, sorry for the late reply, bin juggling everything lately. Workin the night shift I really don't have any ambition to go fix it as of yet. Probly have to wait for the weekend.
Bin getting these , 32 is EGR Circuit Error? I think this mean to toss the egr all together.
But, 63 Accelerator Pedal Position 3 Circuit High? Does this mean I have to get it calibrated? Or replace it?
Other than getting these two nuisances Run's like a top, Thanx to this...
My 95 didn't have a resister in it and it ran rough and very loud clacking, kept sending a 35 code, put one in and very quiet smooth running, like it was a different engine. No codes since.
Has anyone had a problem with the fuse box under the hood? I have, when my Tahoe is running and i wiggle the fuses just enough to get the slightest movement, it'll shut off.
I pulled the fuses and cleaned up the contact points, some tarnishing, both on the fuses themselves and the clips...
Sorry I haven't replied until now, I just have bin swamped with regular duties of life, and i'm haven't had much time for the computer. Thanx to everyone responding to my cry for help.
I'll try this route first since it is a '95.
Well I think that my starter soleniod isn't up to snuff. Has anyone had the problem of the starter not fully engaging? I usually use the the command start to start it, but today I was across the the parking lot at work and heard it start too turn over but then it started grinding like it...
