Sorry, just saw this....... All I ever do is wait for the engine to be cool, put a bag over the air filter, spray it with simple green, let it set for a little while, hose it off with LOW PRESSURE (i.e. garden hoes). Once wrong angle with a pressure washer and you're cutting hoses or lines.

What you're not posting is that there are OPTIONS for the FASS filters. You're hammering the maker of the pump, not the maker of the filters. It's real simple on a FASS. You upgrade the primary filter to an HF6604 (3 micron) and the water separator to a REAL water separator, FS1000VE...

Is it getting that voltage while running at one or both batteries? If it's at both, I'm surprised the batteries havn't exploded yet. If it's only at one battery (likely the passenger side), then check the slave cable between the batteries. Other than the alternator, start checking grounds.
