Try it! If you dont like it then simply take it back! I dont see anything wrong with it, if it lets you control the ipod through your radio controls then I would assume your steering wheel controls should work as well. I have the PAC audio ipod interface and love it. Dont remember how much it...
If it is truly only a "few inches" I wouldn't worry about it. If it is more along the lines of "water spraying out from your wheels and over your hood and you have to turn on your wipers" then I would say find a new road....
You will not be able to clear a 37" by just cranking the bars. Heck I dont even think you will be able to clear a 35" by just cranking the bars. 33" is usually the biggest and safest you can do without actually doing a "lift".
Just my .02cents though...
Well I have been driving with the co-pilot off for a few days now and performing Diesel Tech's test, have gotten it to shift solid up to around 40% but anything higher than that it will slip. Will continue testing throughout this week, if I cant get it to improve anymore than it will be tranny...
I check at every 1000mi mark, change at 4,000mi interval, have honestly never noticed enough of changed in level to feel the need to add. Have 28k miles + on the truck now...
AIRAID MXP intake :eyebrows:
MBRP 4" Turbo back exhaust
Edge Juice w/ attitude set on mileage level (#1)
Fingerstick & egr block off
Amsoil fuel treatment every tank
Before lift, on 265 tire would get 18mpg around town/hwy driving, 20 mpg on freeway at 70mph.
After lift 35" tire...
"Since when do dealers try to convince you to not buy their parts??"
I used to be a service advisor at a new car dealer for several years and this is common practice on some of the more expensive items to replace. A good dealer and service advisor realize that not everybody is made of money...
Clarify something for me. When you say a 425hp tune you mean 360hp stock + 65hp tune to = 425hp correct?
Or do you mean an additonal 425hp over 360hp stock = 785hp? I dont think you mean this but I just figured I would clarify...
If you are doing this with a stock tranny your are nuckin...
6/1/08 - installed an AC Delco factory fuel filter, went for my test drive, seemed to shift ok set in the lower settings with the co-pilot, went ahead and turned the co-pilot off and it immediately started slipping  Turned the co-pilot back on and set it on the middle setting and she shifts...
Interesting guys, I will change it out and see if that helps. The fuel filter is fairly fresh, however I will admit it is a Fram.... (I usually use AC Delco but cheated with the Fram this time). No codes, no cel so that is a good thing. When I had the co-pilot installed they changed the spin-on...
Had an ATS co-pilot installed about a month ago along with a deep pan and filled with Royal Purple Synthetic. Truck has a Juice w/attitude which has been on for over a year now. Usually only run it on level 3, wanted the co-pilot so I could play more. Have run it in 4,5 and 6 a few times with...
Have you thought of picking yourself up a deep pan from either ATS or Mag-Hytec to put on when you change your fluid? Cheap insurance, will keep your fluid and trans cooler... :)
