Have you checked the emergency brake cable? Happened to me a few years back, same brake, and the cable was siezing inside the metal/rubber sheath.

I don't know...... I replaced mine with the NAPA steel one a few years ago, after the stock one leaked, I broke it getting it out. Less than 10 bux as I recall. Was a real PIA to get the old one out, but it's been all good since.

Before I installed my turbo master and deleted my vacuum pump, I got code 78 a couple of times. And only at high speed. Investigation revealed..... The arm from the vacuum reservior thingy had come disconnected from the waste gate arm. doh!
