Gerald, sounds awfully like the same issue I have had lately. Turn the key sometimes, no click, sometimes a click and no start. Then turn the key again and away she goes. I haven't got into it yet though. Too damn cold! Keep us posted.

Yes hello neighbour. I would have gone there if it was not as late in the day as it was. The point was that I was able to get them at the RC hobby supply store.

A little over a year ago I bought/ordered a new FSD. The old one is remotely mounted on a heat sink, on my home made mount, behind the license plate holder in the front bumper. I had simply moved it, heat sink and all, from the intake several years ago. It wasn't really giving me any trouble...
I swear that towing my 7500# Dutchmen thru the Cdn Rockies was the beginning of the end of my engine a few years ago. But that was when I was certainly a :dr:. I was new to diesels, and thought it would be no problem. WRONG! But I know, in hind sight, I pushed way too hard. Since new long block...

Thanks again,

How much truck would I need? Dmax? Ford super duty? I'm very much a GM/Chevy kind of guy, but I got to admit...
Check my sig for my truck specs. It tows my 30' Dutchmen, at about 9000 lbs with no problem. The wife (God bless her soul) is now looking at a used Hitchhiker Champagne edition 5er, that states GVWR of 16,500 lbs. Do you think my 6.5 can handle that? Or am I looking at a truck upgrade (Dmax) as...
Mine are pretty dirty, but it looks like a lite brown or orange wire on firewall side, and a green towards the front. Solonoid is not connected anymore, but the wired connector is still there.
But, you see........ It needs to be "dumbed down" for people like me and perhaps a large percentage of our community. With the math, you just lose me..... With TD's analogys, I can get a better understanding and a picture in my mind of how things work. Maybe I'm just getting to be an old fart...
