Well drained oil nothing there in oil or at the rear block off plates....pita this is...I think after all the vids and testing....i guess a replacement is the key here...I was hoping after getting this I could drive it till it gets warm
I think it is coming from main seal...nothing on dipstick and I dropped the inspection plate enough to see in there. I used a dye light and saw green around the rear main seal....I guess I will have to drain the oil and see...
Thanks for the heads up. I just idleing it leaks at bellhousing. I cant find the read block off plates though....I see the fuel is alittle wet in valley but on the ground it is all antifreeze. I think replacing the engine is going to be my best bet right now from what people are saying about the...
Well I found a engine with 158,000 on it and it dont run and no turbo...(they sold the turbo) because of fuel issue they said....for 450.00
I am thinking of just dropping in a engine so this thing can be moved....I have to move this week....what to do what to do...

ok...My other 6.5 did not smoke like that and it dont smell like antifreeze at all. plus there is antifreeze at bellhousing but the rad hose swells up from what I can tell. It does have 335,000 on it....
update...
I got it warmed up and looked everything over again....Still have a leak on middle of exhaust crossover pipe...on starter ...and some on oil pan...
It seems like the most is at the middle of the exhaust crossover pipe..
I don't get it. It still has pressure in hose after sitting for...
I did not see it leaking before but it might of been hidden behind where I could not see. I am hoping that this is it. I need this running for the weekend.. Have to move trailers around...Once this is taken care of then I have to still replace all the brake lines.... ss :)

I was thinking that to but how did it get around the starter and bellhousing. The only thing that leaked a little was where the thermostat goes. I did not see it leaking before but now that it is cleaned good the new gasket leaks just a little. I am going to put some silicone there and let it...
update...I bought a pressure kit...It held at 15 psi and guess what not leak....Now I am going to flush the system and replace the thermostat and warm it up and see if it leaks. When it starts to leak if it does I am going to look everything over again....
Well I got the starter out and it looks dry above it. I looked all over the top of engine and on both side of engine....Thinking on removing the inspection cover ( torque converter) to see if it is wet in there....I looked all around the hoses and front crossover...all dry there to...

searching here where is the info at that tells me the difference. The 2500 and 1500 look the same. I need to order the brake line and it shows the 1500 is different then the 2500. the weight class shows the same.....
