Looks good. That A10 is a good processor. With the RAM and SSD, you'll be golden. Just make sure you uninstall all the bloatware that Lenovo (and every other manufacturer) includes. http://www.pcdecrapifier.com/
Yeah, it seems like flash memory must be getting cheaper. Both RAM and SSD's are dropping in price. My 512 GB Transcend SSD was $180 about 6 months ago. It's a good trend.
Ferm, I'm worried that you found a 1 TB SSD for $80. You shouldn't be able to find a 1 TB SSD for less than $350 at this point in time. if this is what you found for a hard drive I'd like to warn you it's not what you think it is. This is a SSHD, not a SSD.
- SSHD stands for Solid State...
My friend has a 7.3 Excursion with a WVO system on it. When he shuts it off, the WVO system switches to diesel and keeps the truck running for 2 minutes so it flushes all the WVO out of the filters and engine. It also keeps WVO from getting back into the diesel tank. Does your system have...
Gentlemen-
I have to replace the power steering gearbox on my Suburban. It's a 2001 K1500. There are four gearboxes to choose from depending on production code of the vehicle: AX, UT, LS or YK. I've looked on the driver's door and in the glove compartment. Can't find anything related to a...
I don't know what parts I used. I took the sensor and the 1/8" barb into Lowes with me so I made sure to get all the right sizes. I asked Bill Heath about using that hole, and he said there wouldn't be any ill effects. AFAIK, it's an air pressure sensor, so, as long as it's sealed up, it'll...
Instead of tapping my upper intake, I teed off the hole that houses the sensor that sticks out of the upper intake. You can see it really well at the end of this video. That'll save you from having to tap it. I got all the parts from Lowes.
I always loosened mine with the wrench from underneath and then unthreaded it and removed the filter through the wheel well. Then start the threads from the same vantage point and tighten fully from underneath.
That's not a terrible idea, especially with the way wireless data has advanced as of late. The only thing to watch out for is data caps and overage charges. Those can get nasty quick.
The 54 Mbps rating on your WRT54GS is a theoretical throughput you'll never see in real life. It assumes there is no other RF interference and perfect line of sight. Setting your laptop right next to a 54 Mbps router will only get you 30-40 Mbps on a good day. Once you add some distance and a...
You'd be hard-pressed to find a better product than the Apple Airport Extreme. However, that's $200. For $100 you can get the Airport Express. Those are top of the line, and crazy fast over wireless. If you're not looking to spend that much, though, I stick with Buffalo, Linksys and Netgear...
Anybody have any idea to what this might be referring?

When I needed injectors, Heath told me that for towing or heavy loads, you shouldn't use HO injectors; it'll only increase EGT's with minimal power gain. I put HO in because my Burb was just a people-mover. I had a stock turbo with Heath's Turbo Master (my vac pump died) with a 4" DE exhaust...
