If its any consolation to you I've just had my exhaust welded and we just pulled the cables from the battery. IIRC there is a thread at the 6.5 on welding try a search...good luck..

There was talk about how they would stand up in sub zero temps with the silicone fluid in them, the due to the internal friction they should warm up quicker than aged rubber on the stock ones. IIRC Dan Oddy at Fluidampr/ Vibratech said thats not a problem... Mine is on its way over now from...
