Are you going to use one of these for oil return or do you have something better in mind?

Good that you got a lifetime warrantee on the clutch,
My experience with murray and 4 seasons clutches for r4 compressors has been that they are made out of very soft steel and with the heavy use they get here- Houston , they only last about 25,000 miles compared to the oem which lasts...
Nice!
Have any of you guys tracked down a source of new parts at decent prices for these? Im wondering what it would cost for a new rotor head and whatever would be needed to do a really premium quality pump rebuild.
Hey Matt,
Yes for oil or antifreeze fittings and head bolts and other bolts that go into the block or heads I love that #2 versachem/ #2 permatex.
Edit: I havent used on fluids other than oil, gear lube, antifreeze
For pipe threads in automotive use on the engine block, oil system, coolant system I use Versachem #2 or permatex #2 , i think they are identical. Stuff does not leak. Also great for head bolts. Dont get it on your skin cause its not coming off.
I saw a mid 90s 3500HD yesterday for the first time in a salvage yard and the frame is massive! My buddy said damn! that frame says BEEF!!!.
This one was really long and the whole middle of the frame was doubled up, with the smaller section front extending into the rear section all the way...
The frame plates I used a miller syncrowave 250 tig with a thumb control. The crossmember mounts I used a millermatic200 mig. My welding is ok, good enough for an old truck but I dont claim anything else :)
got a little more done- front shaft for mockup only
I need to shorten the front shaft 4 inches or so, had to clearance my crossmember mount a little to clear the double u joint
I will replace all 3 front u joints when I shorten the shaft
