Thanks for the description. I think these trucks have less maintenance jobs that are crappy than the other brands and they are more reliable than the other 90s trucks.
I have worked on ford trucks for friends before and now I just refuse, they royally suck to work on.
I dont have a 4l80e, but if you look at this pic, below the sticker the second boss down has a plug in it- this looks like the plug I pull to install a sensor on my 4L60e trans. If its 1/8 pipe thread the sensor would screw tight in.
Id like to have some kind of ram air on my trucks but I think I would need some kind of cable operated diverter valve to switch the flow from a dry location under the hood for the times here when the sky opens - sometimes the rain here is like driving underwater.
To set toe in you can use a couple of 3 foot long 1x1 in square tube bars taped to each of the front wheels and run a tape measure on the front side of the tire and another on the rear side of the front tire.
