New pump is on, fingers crossed.

got the new one at lunch, will install it this afternoon, hope this one isn't another piece of shit. I asked if they had my core still, I was entertaining the idea of return what they gave me and they had already sent it out.

They will replace it, just haven't had the time to take it off and take it back. They would let me take the new one if I paid the $130 plus a core. so now I have to make another trip. It's coming off tomorrow night and going back.

It was the cap from the diaphram housing.

got the oh well shit happens attitude from the a-hole at a-zone. Just a reminder why I don't like to shop there. I wouldn't have gotten it there if everyone else close wasn't a two day delivery.

going down after work tonight, hopefully they understand and take the blame on this one. $130 and 2 hours of my time, not including the extra driving, fuel (3.00 a gallon) and time wasted.

Went with the new pump, got the old one off last night for a core and the new one is going in tonight. Thanks for the help guys.

I believe I have a problem with the TC lockup valve in my truck, what is the kit you are talking about, is it something that I can install myself or would it have to go to a tranny shop to be installed.

Does anyone here know how to test the rear window defroster. On my 97 suburban the light comes on when the button is pushed, but the unit is not clearing the rear windows? What should I look for. I'm assuming it's not a fuse since the light comes on. Any help will be appreciated.

I ordered the kit tonight. I emailed Tim and asked him if I could substitute the Bosch glow plugs and for a small adder he is supplying them. Good guy to talk to and easy to work with.

it may be closer to 47 mph, never really staring at the speedo to make sure, 40-45 was a guess. I do know it only happens at this speed at low rpm's. Never happens going down the highway at 55-75 mph. How hard is it to change this solenoid? Is it external or do I have to drop the pan? If it...
