some people keep on telling me about timing and that i should time my IP but i don't think it can be done but if i'm wrong what can i done and what do i need to do it???
i was just thinkin about putting a BD heavy duty torque converter on with a shift kit and adding some clutches in so the tranny could handle whatever i want to throw at it and i tranny pan so i can keep the temps down on it...
what do yall think???
i converted my truck into a 96 i took everything off or my dads 96 3500 and put it on my truck i don't know that much else so whatever his truck had my truck has now...
ok first i should elaborate what all my truck took to make it what it is today...
first it was a gas truck with a 350 in it then my dads 3500 6.5 craped out on him so i fixed that motor and converted everything over to the 1500 it already has a 3" striaght pipe with no cat and the 3500 didn't...
i just bought a resistor #9 from SS diesel and i bought a turbo-master from heaths diesel but they say that you need to put on a chip to, is this true or will it work without the chip???
And if it does work without it will it tear up my motor or will it be fine:confused:
is there a way to turn up these injection pumps or what???
some people say that there is a way and then they say that they don't know

my diesel mechanic said that my glow plugs either dont work or only a few of them work how would i check to see if they work or not???
and he also told me that i have a misfiring injector or the injector is completly bad how would do i check to see...
ok now there seems to be another problem my fan clutch went out and when the motor reaches 210 or more does the pmd short out or something???
or does it just go into some kind of default mode with the computer???
cuz i got all the air out of the fuel system and it still dies going down the...
