If its not one thing its 10 others. :rolleyes5:
Today I ran to lowes to get some furniture grade plywood for a podium I need to build for the american legion. Long story short there is alot of stupid people at lowes today who messed me up so I went to home depot. They didnt have what I wanted...
He did give me a mox with new tierod ends, he said he was going to change them before it broke. I did notice the toe is a little off so the front end needs to be checked out.
I meant the 6.5 engine, even other then that it pulled great. I was surprised how well it stopped without trailer...
Both trucks are nice, I think you had a good trade though.
Id have to agree, I dont really give a truck or tractor much of a look if it isnt a diesel. And thats because of my own experience.
its a case david brown 995, not sure what the deal is with the paint. It should look more like this one.

From what I read they had problems with the metellurgy when they casted the cranks and that caused them to break. Im told the new cranks wont break like the old ones. I guess other then that there were solid machines. He had a loader on it and used it for hay work. He gave me a massive factory...
Tractor tow pic
I hauled this up in the wind and rain yesterday from indiana. I paid $800 for it, he said it has a broken crank.:nonod:
The 6.5 pulled it like it wasnt there. The tractor weighs around 7000, the trailer maybe 2000? I thought the trailer brakes were working but I guess not...
Ive been driving my truck and its been acting the same. Today I swapped TPSs and it shifted great, I did get code 83 again after the first drive. I cleared the codes and drove it again and got no codes.
Whats a APPS?
The other truck I have has issues too, its a mess.
Ill look into taking it to a transmission shop. Only problem is there is only one close and he will say it needs to be rebuilt. Hes a scam artist, my parents took cars over there to have them change the fluid and they always...
I did some more playing around with it. The dipstick tube was broke in half. I fixed that and took it for a spin. It only gets code 22 now. I tried all kinds of stuff and it only gets 22. Even with the key off and on deal it shows 22 but they shifts into 4th.
Fluid looks fine, doesnt smell...
I never did like the box filter on the 6.2, poor design from the get go IMO. And I agree about the gasser mindset. I think the temp gauge scale should be set up alot different then what it is. There isnt much difference from normal temp to 210. They need to have a little wider scale there.
I would think its electrical since it works fine after you shut it off and restart it.
I pulled the TPS plug apart and sprayed some cleaner in there, also on the transmission plug. Ill take it for a spin again later and see what happens.
My dad worked in a factory for years and they would get magazines about factory stuff. They had a article about a factory that always did the maintenance on their machines according to the manufacturers specifications. This factory had never had any machine break down. Id say its the same with...
