I didn't pick those up yet, I bought this stuff from my great uncle, it used to be my great grandpas. I bought his irrigation setup, pump and everything. Also a transplanter and potato digger. There is 3 sprinkler heads that do a 100ft radius and a bunch of smaller ones.
The pipe is 20ft 4"...
Ive changed the solenoids when I got the truck, one of them wasn't working too good and eventually gave up the ghost. Since it popped the fuse when it went to shift I figured it had something to do with the solenoid or the wire going to that solenoid.
I left for school one cold morning and the trans wouldn't shift, 35mph was about as fast as I could go. Turned around and went home to drive something else. Old rusty but trusty jimmy to the rescue.
Checked the dipstick, it was good, checked the fuse, it was blown. I replaced it...
I should have taken pictures of the load of concrete block and ready mix I hauled from lowes. About 16,000lbs, those load range Ds on back were about to let the rims touch the ground. That was a stupid miscalculation on my part.
It ran a ad in some classifieds looking for old tractors to fix up. I got a lot of people with a busted up farmall A for $7000. I seem to attract these people. Some woman told me about this JD, said it would start and hasn't ran in a few years. Didn't give me a price or anything. I went up and...
I found a 1994 chevy 3500 dually 4x4 with auto trans forsale. Has 175,000 miles, thats low compared to my rig. Has ext cab rot like most of them. Im going to look at it Tuesday and was wondering what to look for. Im not sure what the difference was between the 1992 and 94. Does the 94 have the PMD?
Ive been having the same issue for over a year, I think its a bad glow plug because if i git is more RPMs it does away. I think its a cold cylinder with poor combustion because its to cold to burn the fuel. I must have had another glow plug go bad because I started having it really run rough...
Here was my last big tow from this summer, a John Deere 2010 Diesel with a kelley loader. The tractor was about 2 hours north of me. My GPS always wants to take the highway so when I left the place I picked it up I though I knew my way back to the highway I wanted to take. I missed a turn and...
Ive still got the big bad machine. Im thinking about selling it though. Ive cleaned her up though. Dont look hillbilly anymore. It has a rear brake grabbing. I need to fix that and pull the lift blocks out and probably put it up forsale.
I hope not, from what Ive seen even the farmers have DOT # on the busted up pickups. Id be done, my plates and ins is to much already and Ive never even been pulled over before. The Lowes parking lot is a good place to see pickups with dor numbers. Next time I see some guy get out of a truck...
Im seeing more and more pickups with DOT numbers. Does that mean they need commercial plates? Ill see the same pickup I seen last week and they added DOT numbers on the door. Still not sure why.
Ive never seen DOT numbers here before but the guy I know with the f350 said that according to the rules he really needs a cdl hauling that big trailer. I started noticing pickups with the dot number and figured they hauled a big trailer like he had. Now I seen it a lot and even seen busted up...
I see a lot of guys running around now with DOT numbers on their door like a semi truck. I wonder if they can get aproved to haul that much weight. Im sure they would then need a comercial license plate.
I know a guy with a F350 with a goosneck equipment trailer who pulls 20k or more. Ive also seen 1 ton trucks on the highway with tractors that you know they were well over 20k.
