I think it will if it thinks its to cold, seems like I had a issue once like that. There was 2 temp sensors. one for the guage and one for the trans.
They are cheap so its worth a try.
The solenoids are about $35 to change. If you have the pan off you may want to try that. Im not real big on OBD2 so Im not sure what the difference is. I know the computer in my truck is only for the transmission. It has no engine computer. I would assume your computer does everything.
Ive had several problems. After I bought my truck it would shift at higher and higher rpms. After about a year it wouldnt shift anymore. I changed the fluid filter and shift solenoids.

I had a similar issue, if I shut the key off and turned it back on it would correct the problem normaly until the truck cooled down. I'm not sure if I still have the problem or not. I dont drive the truck in the winter.
My truck has you beat on miles for all original. I think Im around 290k.

The old GP were AC delco, they all came very easy, I did pray for...

I pulled one easy to get glow plug out. It came out pretty easy.
Since I'm pretty sure I have at least 4 junk glow plugs I'm going to start there. They should be here in a day or two. Another reason I don't think its a problem of it turning over to slow is when it didn't want to start I did a lot of cranking on it and you could hear the engine slowing down as...
