I think the ultras are a tinted bulb giving a white look, instead of a yellow appearance. I would vote for the extreme power. I'm tellin you, if you spend a lot of time driving at night, you WILL notice a difference.
Take a gander at the Phillips Extreme power....Or something like that.
I bout a set for my CVPI and they make a HUGE difference on dark roads. I noticed it right away.
They look nice on there.
I just saw an Audi commercial advertising LED headlights so I know they're making progress with them. It seems that in a couple years, HIDs will be going obsolete.
I have amber (yellow) bulbs and yallow lense covers that can easily be peeled off. 4300K would look...
Tim, that truck would make it 500k no problem had it not been for the injectors. Pretty sad when a poor design ruins a good, solid designed motor that's capable of 500k miles easily with proper maintenance.
Whats your total mileage right now Tim?
Yeah, there's back roads Ferman that one could zip down and get there in less than 15. Jeff, you should swing down.
Anyone on any other forums planning this trip?
Those would look bad ass. If you need help, let me know. Brake jobs on new cars are easy. Going from a single piston to a dual piston caliper is gonna be a HUGE improvement.
My PIAAs were caked in rust from living in the awesome state of taxation. They weren't worth anything toward the end. The only things that were salvageable were the lenses.
Now that I've got my projectors in my car, I'm thinking about getting some 4300k HID for my fog lights - 9145.
I've heard this is a worthwhile investment, no matter what type of car or truck. I replaced the rotors and pads on my Challenger and I keep reading that switching to braided lines helps a ton with pedal feel and firmness.
How tedious was this?
The company emailed me back and seems to think there's a problem with the harness. They offered to replace it but I'am absolutely not tearing off that god dammed front clip again. They think there's a problem with one of the relays that *should* make the shutters for the highbeams to work.
I parked in front of a brick wall and used the tool to aim them both together. I got flashed prior to doing so but I knew as soon as I got out onto the road, I was gonna be flashed. As much as I like lighting up the tops of trees, I dont think the public enjoyed that.
It's good. I had to adjust them way down. Lighting is good on dark roads. My fogs actually out out good light as well. I'm not super impressed but then again, most roads here have excessive street lighting.
Also, there's a problem with the harness because my highbeam shutter doesn't work...
I bought these OEM projectors months ago and had to buy a $170 wiring harness to make them work as factory.
Yesterday, at 73 degrees, 3 of us finally got them installed. What a royal pain right in the balls. I had to take the entire front clip off to remove the whole housings. What was...
