    I wonder...

I wonder if its possible to start a tread, a sticky maybe, where you guys could make a list over interchangeable parts. In our Norwegian forum and even here I see questions like " can I use 6.5 heads on a 6.2" or "can I use a -94 trans in a -96" or "will a 6.2 crank fit in a 6.5" and so on. I...

    Sad day.

Hey Matuva, just had look in your photoalbum. Man ,that a nice truck. Sad you had to let it go. I know the feeling, had a nice K5 when I was 19 and had to sell it to pay for school. See you around. Trond

Need a good set of 6.2L/6.5L batteries that don't mind sitting for days-weeks.

Have tried both Optima and Exide, no problem with either of them. I have Optima on some big dieselgenerators, never any problems. Trond

Wow BigT, thats a lot of snow. Sometimes we get up to 25 in where I live, but usually only 8-10 in. Right now we got nothing and Iam very happy with that. Have changed my actuator now and its working, but man its working slow! Even slower than the old one so I guess it will be replaced with...

Yeah, had the feelin I was doing the wrong thing, but when I use the 4wd its always on snow/ice so I`ll give it a try. But I think BigT is right about revisiting this again. Trond

Thanks for the advice. Had some luck, got the chance to buy a new one for 120 bucks. Its the old style, not the improved type. Do not have to do anything with the wiring, then. Hopefully I can have a look at it this weekend, but the whole family is down with the flu so I`ll have to see. Trond

Hi guys, first snow today and 4wd will not engage. I hear a "weak" clunk when pressing the button, but lamp wont stop flashing. I can get it in low, but no 4wd there either. Where do I start? What you guys think? Btw, its the -96 sub Im talking about.. Trond
