    My 2005 Yukon XL

Messed with it more (touching wiring, ect) and the cel is now off. Not clue if it was anything I did. It definitely still has a noticeable shake to the idle, for now going to try and drive it on some short trips. Going to throw some new plugs at it too.

It is going in for alignment on Tuesday, so I may have them spend some diagnostic time on it too if they can. I have a feeling they will back me up, but this isnt my specialty. Its so tough now even on an 05 without serious scanner capability.

Thats another item on my radar is compression test. I asked my buddy to bring his over later. One other thing I have heard relations of, are pre-converter O2s. Ive never replaced wither of those in my ownership but looking at live scanner data they are oscillating voltage what seems normal to...

Tried the OBD Auto Doctor and TechScan which is basically OBDWiz. They all pull up $06 data, but it is in hex code and I just cant correlate that to what the scanner is readying from charts found online. One per my understanding is GM has never released the true correlation data unlike Ford has...

I actually do have a SGII in the Yukon, but it doesn't have PIDs for the items I need. It's good for monitoring more than the dash and checking lamens codes for sure. Due to the super generic PO300 code it's throwing and that code only, you need to go through a diagnostic procedure. This is one...

I like the Autel stuff alot. I will look into it to see if they offer something for a Windows OS to use my OBDLink EX ELM327 cable. If I have to spend some $ i would also like to get a program that does SRS and ABS as well.

Will do, never heard of this one. I did see that. I want something on my computer (Windows) if I can as I already have a USB OBD Link. I would have to order a Bluetooth dongle. I was also looking at the Torque Pro.

Got some different wheels for cheap and only 21-minutes from the house. Going to mount some General grabbers on them that I got for a bargain as new take offs. I need to get new lug nuts as well. I am fighting a PO300 code that triggers a solid CEL. Trying to get a scanner capable of live data...

Yes, it's been on my wish list for a long time! All I need is a mini set for what I would do. I actually have a plasma cutter, but not enough compressor to utilize yet. We use propane and oxygen a lot at work for cutting steel. If I was to do my projects at work I would have access to it. But...

Got the UCAs off, took all afternoon. Really needed a gas axe. All of the bolts were siezed horribly.

Found some pre-loved wire to finally link my second battery to my primary for plow season. Ended up wire looming it as the 2ga wire was yellow. I couldn't handle looking at that. I need to get some 2ga, 3/8 stud Lugs.

Yeah, next time (expecting 2 years) I will not be doing this again. To be honest, I didn't plan on replacing the trans lines at all. I will look into a custom setup. I have long term plans for a 40K TruCool auxiliary cooler which will need custom lines. Just didn't have the funds right now for it.

    My 2005 Yukon XL

Well trans lines went much better today. Up until the last line going from the aux cooler to the trans. Just couldn't get it to clip, the flare was just not right. I wasn't pulling that stupid thing back out. Sat there with emery cloth and filed the seat down by hand. Finally got a good seal...

Definitely the plan for now. Still was a struggle to even unthread! But now that I will have the new ones in hand I can assure proper sockets and lengths!

    My 2005 Yukon XL

Revisited the transmission line debacle. Ended up just unthreading the adapters. Going to get new ones. I think my issue is I wasn't re-installing the clips right. It's just damn near impossible up in their homeland. Of course now I am short 2 e-clips, and to get something quickly local you need...

    My 2005 Yukon XL

I wanted too eliminate this stupid e-clip things, but I couldn't find a complete kit with all fittings and lines for under $300. In another time crunch again so I just got aftermarket replacements. I wanted GM stuff but it was over $200. I'm going to get new thread in adapters today with new...

    My 2005 Yukon XL

Today sucked. Worst project of my life, and didn't even finish. Going to need a serious brake bleeding, I'm out of DOT 3 fluid too. The stupid trans lines didn't come with new clips. There is little to no access along the passenger side of a 4l60e. I replaced these lines about 2-3 years ago...

    My 2005 Yukon XL

I went looking for the poly bushings and only see them without the shells as well, for now I think we will just press in the Moogs. I am still missing one of the 3 transmission lines, delayed in shipping. We also ordered 2-gallons of Fluid Film, that has been delayed over 2 weeks now. Of course...
