The only way you can tell by the tires if the struts are bad is the tires would looked rippled all the weight around. From the tire actually bouncing instead of staying planted to the road.
The other way to test the struts is to do the "jounce test" (aas stated above) if you bounce on the...
Anyone going to the four wheel drive Jamboree in Bloomsburg, pa July 11-12-13?
I made my Hotel reservations today. Ill be going up on Friday to get in at the hotel then go to the fair grounds Saturday morning.
Its definatly a good show there with a ton of trucks to look at and even more...
Ya I think the year they had the truck pulls was the best year yet! It would be cool if they brought it back. Id definatly trade them for the over done bikini contest
Ya some say the DIC is way off and some say its dead on! In the next week or so I'll have to test the MPG's. Im going on a trip so I can tell for sure. My fuel used is usually dead on. I took my truck to florida a little over a year ago and wanted to pay cash for fuel. I started out with fuel to...
:smilielol5: ):h
Ehhh I own a furd and will probably have to do a cab removal so Im in the clear! Im also over weight so I can do fat jokes as well :ciappa:
No No No the hinge is outdated.
I got from Ford the new update for emergency cab removal. In the 08+ Ford F-250+ The tire iron will also come with a pack of matches tucked in side. Remove the matches, strike 1 match, light fuse located inside drivers door near bottom door seal. After fuse is...
Id say Hobart is one of the best out there. If you have a tractor Supply store near you they have the best deals on Hobart. Depending on what you want to do Id get the biggest 110v you can buy. That way you can take it almost anywhere. With 220v its hard to always find a power source...
You could always go to the auto tradder or "cycle tradder" (same thing). They can put stuff on there internet site and IIRC they'll keep it on till it sales. :biggrin5:

If you dont mind the work Id say hands down the cummins would be the way to go. Alot more power and easiar to work on/ get parts for.
Then again I just replaced a 6.5 in my truck and cant make it run :nonod:
Good Question!
I agree with whitetrash21 ^^^^^ From what I can see the 5 speeds will almost definatly go if you do anything over a 90HP plus tune. Id say with the Transgo Jr on the 6 speed it would hold a 160 tune.
Hey thanks guys!! :cheers2:
Ya It does kinda look camilian when you actually look at it. We just used left over paint from painting another car. Originally I thought it was more silver like the outside but it turned out that cool lookin blue!
No the parts werent hard to get on...
Ya If it the motor Im thinking of the thermostats is next to the exhaust manifold and a pain in the ass! Id just remove the upper and lower rad hose spray water in the upper through the rad to clean the rad. Then if you cant spray water through the motor just put the hoses back on fill the rad...
